M. Shelly Conner, Ph.D is the Founder and Executive Director of Quare Square Collective, Inc., a nonprofit collective for Midwest queer artists of color. Shelly’s creative work has been published and/or produced by Second City Chicago, The Black Ensemble Theater, and Skin to Skin to Magazine. She has been featured in the Chicago Sun-Times, prideindex.com, and NPR-affiliate Vocalo Radio. Shelly is currently exploring publishing options for her novel everyman.
